Add the Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS and Site Scan for ArcGIS LE mobile apps as registered applications to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 or newer

Summary

The Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS and Site Scan for ArcGIS LE mobile apps are registered and supported with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 portals and higher. If working with ArcGIS Enterprise versions 10.6.1 to 10.8, the following procedure is required to add the Site Scan for ArcGIS apps as registered applications within an ArcGIS Enterprise portal.

Note: 
This guide is not intended to allow publishing of content from the Site Scan Manager for ArcGIS web application to ArcGIS Enterprise. To enable this, request a connection from your Esri Customer Success Manager or Technical Support and provide them with your Enterprise portal URL and App ID.

Procedure

Use the following steps to add Site Scan Flight for ArcGIS and Site Scan for ArcGIS LE as registered apps to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1 and later:

  1. Open the ArcGIS Portal Directory and login as a member with administrative privileges. The URL format is:
https://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptorname/sharing/rest
  1. Navigate to the administrative user’s content.
Note:
The URL below must be manually typed into the address bar and cannot be accessed by clicking through the Sharing/REST web interface. In the following URL, [username] should be replaced with the aforementioned administrative user.
http://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptorname/sharing/rest/content/users/[username]
  1. Under Supported Operations choose Add Item.
  2. In the Add Item form, enter:
    • Title: Site Scan for ArcGIS (or Site Scan for ArcGIS LE)
    • Type: Application
    • Type Keywords: Application
    • Tags: Site Scan for ArcGIS (or Site Scan for ArcGIS LE)
  3. Click Add Item.
  4. On the User Item page, under Supported Operations, click Share Item.
  5. On the Share Item page, set Share with Everyone to True, click Share Item.
  6. On the User Item page, select and copy the ID value.
  7. Under Related Operations, click Register App.
  8. On the Register App page, enter:
    • Item ID: This is the ID copied in step 8.
    • App Type: Select multiple from the drop-down.
    • Redirect URIs: This value allows the successful authentication response to be sent to the portal URL. Enter the following:

  1. Click Register App. The Registered App page displays the App ID.
  2. On the Registered App page, copy the App ID value.
  3. Open the ArcGIS Portal Administrator Directory and log in as a member with administrative privileges. The URL format is:
https://webadaptorhost.domain.com/webadaptorname/portaladmin
  1. Navigate to Home > Security> OAuth> Change App ID.
  2. On the Change App ID page, enter the following:
    • Current App ID: This is the App ID copied in step 12.
    • New App ID: Enter sitescan
  3. Click Change App ID.
