How do I locate the version number of Esri products?

Locating the version number of an Esri product can be useful for a number of reasons, whether it is to self-diagnose issues, posting on the Esri community forums, or to allow Esri Support Services to effectively diagnose issues. The version number of Esri products can be found from the Control Panel in Windows by following the steps below: 
Note:
This method is applicable to find the version number of the following products: ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS GIS Server, ArcGIS License Manager, ArcGIS Engine.
  1. In Windows, click Start > Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
  2. Locate the Esri product on the list of programs. The version number is displayed in the Version column.
