The Near Me widget returns empty search result details in Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS

Description

When searching for an address using the Near Me widget, clicking a returned result displays empty details. The following widget images show empty search result details returned for ‘Grenshaw bus routes’.

Cause

This issue occurs when one of the following is not configured correctly at the web map level:

• The hosted feature layer does not have a pop-up title.
• When configuring a pop-up title of the hosted feature layer using a default field value, the field value name is not set as default.

Solution or Workaround

Depending on the cause, use one of the options below to resolve the issue.

Add a pop-up title to the hosted feature layer

To add a pop-up title, open the web map in Map Viewer, and configure the pop-up of the hosted feature layer. Refer to ArcGIS Online: Configure pop-ups for complete steps.

Ensure the default field value name remains as default

When configuring pop-ups using the Add field name or expression button in Step 4 of the documentation, ensure the default field value name used in the pop-up title remains as default.
