PROBLEM

Replication packages files (.crpk) used for distributed collaboration remain in the portal if the collaboration synchronization process fails

Last Published: April 25, 2020

Description

If synchronization fails in a distributed collaboration, the replication package used to move items and data between collaboration workspaces remains in the ArcGIS Enterprise portal or ArcGIS Online. If collaboration workspaces are configured to synchronize frequently and the issue that is causing synchronization to fail is not resolved, replication package files (.crpk) can quickly accumulate in your content.

Cause

Replication packages remain to allow working with Esri to troubleshoot synchronization failures, if necessary.

Solution or Workaround

After resolving synchronization issues, delete the .crpk files from My Content.
