Error Message

When republishing a survey from ArcGIS Survey123 Connect, the following error message is returned:

Warning: This survey has already been published.
The existing data service is not compatible with the survey - (Table <table name> not found).

Cause

The form ID of the republished survey does not match the hosted feature layer name of the published survey.

Solution or Workaround

Before republishing, ensure that the value in the form_id column of the republished XLSForm has the exact name of the published hosted feature layer. The name of the published hosted feature layer is on the item details page of the survey.

The form_id column is on the Settings tab of the XLSForm.
