Problem: Dialog boxes in ArcCatalog or ArcMap do not display completely
Dialog boxes in ArcCatalog or ArcMap, such as Export Data, Data Frame Properties, Layer Properties, or the Identify window, are cut off. Dialog boxes do not display completely when opened.
This issue arises when values in specific registry keys become invalid or corrupted.
Solution or Workaround

- Open the Registry Editor either by clicking Start > Run and typing in 'regedit' or by typing 'regedit' in the Windows Search.
- For ArcGIS 10.x: navigate to HKEY_Current_User\Software\ESRI\Desktop10.x\ArcMap - where 'x' is the version in use.
For ArcGIS 9.1 - 9.3.1: navigate to HKEY_Current_User\Software\ESRI\ArcMap
- Right-click the registry key 'PropertySheets' and rename it to PropertySheetsOld.
Note: Renaming the key regenerates a new key with default values that should resolve the issue. If any problems arise, it is possible rename the key back to PropertySheets to recover the old data.
