Problem: Issue with the ArcGIS Desktop Geocoding toolbar after applying a patch
Two patches for ArcGIS for Desktop have been replaced due to an issue with the geocoding toolbar after installing the patch. Because of this issue, the application was unable to find configuration information, particularly for the Geocoding toolbar.
During the patching process, registry keys were reset to invalid values due to incorrect strings in the ArcGIS 10.3 for Desktop Final install.
Solution or Workaround
Each ArcGIS for Desktop setup has been rebuilt with a 'B' designator to overwrite the existing patch. This corrects the Geocoding toolbar issue.
• If the patch has already been downloaded and installed, please download the B version and install it over the top of the current installation.
• If the patch has already been downloaded but not yet installed, please discard it and download the B patch.
The affected patches are:
• ArcGIS 10.3 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Geodesic Buffer Method Patch
• ArcGIS 10.3 for (Desktop, Engine, Server) Patch Spatial Statistics and Space Time Pattern Mining Patch
