Hosted feature services and attachments do not display in the Story Map Tour template

Description

When users attempt to use a hosted feature service containing an attachment to create a web application via the Story Map Tour template, the feature service and attachment do not display in the Story Map Tour application builder.

Cause

The Story Map Tour application builder requires hosted feature services, which store pictures as attachments, to have two attachments and the correct field names to create a web application. If the hosted feature service does not have two attachments, the schema of the content fails to match the requirement in the application builder, and the hosted feature service containing the attachment does not appear in the Story Map Tour application builder.

 Users must add the pictures twice to the Attachment Manager if a picture is to be used as both the main picture and the thumbnail.
