When opening feature classes participating in a geometric network, the following error occurs.

"Error opening feature class. The feature class participates in a geometric network that could not be opened. DBMS table not found."

Cause

The user has insufficient permission when accessing the feature class. To view or open the feature class in a geometric network, the user must have sufficient permissions to grant and revoke privileges on datasets.

Disconnect the multiple database user connections when performing administrative tasks to avoid creating database locks.
