Description

When changing user permissions through ArcCatalog on a Spatial View, an Error 999999 is generated.

Cause

This is a software defect introduced at 10.0 SP3: NIM075477.

This applies to spatial views created using SDEBINARY storage when accessed via ArcGIS 10.0 SP3 or later.

Workaround

The underlying function executes successfully. The error message can be ignored.
