Error Message

When visiting the ArcGIS 'Services' URL at http://<site name>/arcgis/services with a Web browser, the following error displays:

Server Error in '/ArcGIS/Services' Application.
No Content

Cause

The ArcGIS Server Map Services SOAP endpoint is not a browsable URL.

Solution or Workaround

Use a supported ArcGIS client such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGlobe, ArcGIS Explorer, or a Web mapping application to consume resources from the service endpoints.
