MrSid files cannot be viewed in ArcPad 8.0

Description

After upgrading to ArcPad 8.0, MrSid files (.sid) can no longer be viewed. These files work fine in previous versions.

Cause

Several extensions, including the MrSID extension, are not turned on when the software is installed.

Solution or Workaround

1. In the Options drop-down menu, select Advanced Settings.
   
   
2. Scroll to the right and click the Extensions tab.
3. Check the MrSID box, and click the green OK button.
4. Restart ArcPad for the settings to take effect.
