Problem: Cannot access ArcInfo functionality in a Citrix environment after switching seat type from ArcEditor or ArcView
ArcInfo functionality cannot be accessed after switching the seat type from either ArcEditor or ArcView functionality.
If ArcView or ArcEditor is installed in a Citrix environment, the ArcToolbox DLLs register accordingly to restrict certain access to ArcToolbox capabilities. The appropriate ArcToolbox DLLs are not automatically registered or unregistered when the seat type is changed.
Solution or Workaround
It is recommended that either the initial ArcGIS Desktop installation or the Desktop Administrator be configured to support the highest license type available to ensure that the ArcToolbox menus are configured correctly.
