Business Analyst toolbar wizards are grayed out

Description

The wizards in the interactive drop-down portion of the Business Analyst toolbar are grayed out.

Cause

The Business Analyst extension has not been turned on under Extensions and/or Customize.

Solution or Workaround

1. From the Tools drop-down menu, select Customize. Once the list populates, verify that the box for Business Analyst is checked. If it is, close the Customize dialog box and go to Step 2.
   
   If the box for Business Analyst is not checked, check it and close the Customize dialog box. Click on the interactive drop-down portion of the Business Analyst toolbar to see if the wizards are now available.
2. From the Tools drop-down menu, select Extensions. If the box for Business Analyst is not checked, check it and close the Extensions dialog box. Go to the Business Analyst toolbar to verify that the wizards are now available.
   
   If the wizards are still grayed out after activating the extension, contact Support Services at 888-377-4575.
