ArcPad support of SiRF Star III based GPS receivers and Static Navigation
Description
ArcPad supports SiRF Star III based GPS receivers and Static Navigation (SN), yet it is recommended that users disable this property.
Cause
Many PDAs are now using the SIRF Star III chip. Problems may occur when using GPS in ArcPad unless the SN property is turned off.

Workaround
Turn off the Static Navigation (SN) property on the PDA to avoid problems when using GPS in ArcPad.Please refer to PDA's User Guide for instructions on how to turn off the Static Navigation setting.
