Error: No authorized routine named "SDEPOINTS" of type "FUNCTION" having compatible arguments was found.
The following error can occur when a ArcSDE 9.2 geodatabase, stored in DB2 database, was originally created in DB2 UDB 7.2 and migrated to UDB 8.2:
"No authorized routine named "SDEPOINTS" of type "FUNCTION" having compatible arguments was found"
A DB2 database created in DB2 UDB 7.2 may have problems using the 'db2se migrate_v82' command. This problem affects the method used to access the SDEPOINTS routine.
This does not happen on a newly created database. This also does not happen if the DB2 database was created at UDB 8.1 and migrated to UDB 8.2.
Solution or Workaround
The problem with the 'db2se migrate' command is resolved at DB2 UDB 8.1 FP13 (also known as DB2 UDB 8.2 FP6). Migrate to this DB2 release, if this error message is encountered.
