Description

Cannot view 16-bit MrSid files in ArcPad.

Cause



This is a known issue.

Workaround

ArcPad does not show 16-bit single band MrSID files. The raster needs to be converted to 8-bit single band.

  1. Start ArcToolbox and navigate to > Data Management Tools > Raster. Open the Copy Raster tool.
  2. Select the input and output raster files.
  3. Select the Pixel Type to 8_BIT_SIGNED/UNSIGNED. Click OK.
