Error: Invalid Topology [CFILE_WRITE

Error Message

When running a geoprocessing tool or validating a topology in ArcMap or ArcCatalog, temporary files are created on the hard drive.

During the process, the following error may occur failing to complete:

"Invalid Topology [CFILE_WRITE_ERROR]"

Cause

The disk space is insufficient to complete the geoprocessing or topology validation task.

Solution or Workaround

Free additional disk space on the machine that is running the tool or redirect where temporary files are created.
