Determine which single use registration or UNK number is being used

Summary

Instructions provided describe how to determine what ArcView or ArcEditor Single Use registration or UNK number is in use.

Procedure

1. Navigate, on each computer, to the following location:
   
   C:\Program Files\ESRI\License\SingleUser
   
   This may also be AVsingleuser or AEsingleuser, depending on which version is installed.
2. Open the ViewerFX.lic in Notepad; the UNK number is displayed here.
   
   

   Note:
   If ArcEditor Single Use is installed, the file is EditorFX.lic 
   
   If 9.x is installed, then the file is Viewer9FX.lic or Editor9FX.lic.
