Getting insufficient privileges when publishing Metadata to Metadata service when using ArcCatalog remotely.

Cause

This occurs when attempting to publish metadata documents remotely using Remote Desktop.

Solution or Workaround



  1. Log into the ArcGIS/ArcCatalog server using VNC.
  2. Log on the ArcGIS/ArcCatalog server locally.
