Problem: ArcGIS License Manager reports no hardware key installed on some laptops


The ArcGIS License Manager may report that no hardware key is installed on some laptop computers, even though a USB Sentinel key is installed.

The License Manager works fine when the laptop is connected to a docking station, but fails when undocked.


This problem can occur on some laptops when the laptop is undocked because of the system profile changes.

Solution or Workaround

Update the Sentinel System Driver\Sentinel Protection Installer to the latest Sentinel Protection Installer for Sentinel SuperPro Hardware Keys from the SafeNet Inc. Web site.
