<a href='http://support.esri.com/en/knowledgebase/techarticles/detail/29506' target='_blank'>Error: Your selection cannot be displayed in the current view</a>
This problem occurs when ArcGIS Server is unable to parse the server and server object configuration files located in the ArcGIS Server installation directory \cfg folder.
ArcGIS Server uses the Microsoft XML Parser 4, MSXML4.dll, to parse the configuration files. This problem will offcur if a different version of MSXML is registered or the MSXML4.dll is not registered correctly.
Solution or Workaround
To resolve this problem, register the system file msxml4.dll.
The instructions below include making changes to essential parts of your operating system. It is recommended that you backup your operating system and files, including the registry, before proceeding. Consult with a qualified computer systems professional, if necessary.
ESRI cannot guarantee results from incorrect modifications while following these instructions. Therefore, use caution and proceed at your own risk.
