When starting ArcScene, ArcGlobe, or ArcCatalog, the following error may appear:
Driver Components Mismatch
This error may also include 'nvidia display driver' in the title bar of the error window.
This error appears if the graphics driver is corrupted or some of the driver files are mismatched.
When ArcGlobe, ArcScene or ArcCatalog is started, the application starts a 3D session but the session is not able to start because the graphics driver is corrupted.
Download and install the latest driver for the graphics card installed in the computer. See the Related Information section below for links to nVidia and ATI, two popular graphics card manufacturers.
To determine which make and model graphics card is installed in the computer
1. Navigate to Start > Control Panel > System.
2. Select the Hardware tab and click the Device Manager button.
3. Expand Display adapters; the graphics card make and model should now be listed below.
For more information on the driver versions, etc., right-click on the Display adapter listed and select Properties.
