ERROR
The underlying connection was closed: The remote name could not be resolved. (.NET)
Error Message
When using Visual Studio .NET to compile an ArcWeb Services application, the following error may occur:
"The underlying connection was closed: The remote name could not be resolved."
Cause
An HTTP proxy server exists between the Web service and the .NET client, and the proxy settings have not been configured properly.
Solution or Workaround
