Loading many rasterized feature layers causes application to slow down or even crash

** This issue is addressed in ArcGIS 9.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2) **

Loading many rasterized feature layers, like the ones that ship with the data map CD, presents a memory choke down situation which may lead to application crash or slow performance. This problem is related to ArcGlobe's data indexing mechanism. In addition, when some large feature datasets are displayed the application might give a Tile Overflow error.
