Error Message

Reconciling a secondary version against its primary version returns the following error:

The version could not be reconciled. Underlying DBMS error
Violation of UNIQUE KEY constraint 'sde_logfiles_uk2'.
Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'SDE_logfiles'.

Cause

The Permission property on the primary version is set to Protected.

Solution or Workaround

Change the primary version Permission property to Public.
