TOC contains no symbols for ArcMap Service layers

Description

The expected table of contents symbology for an ArcMap Service do not display.

Cause

ArcMap Server creates a directory on the server where images for the table of contents are written. The name of the directory is derived from the name of the ArcMap document data frame. Certain characters are prohibited from being included in a directory name.
