Is the RMS error and Chi-square reported for the Spatial Analyst Trend interpolator?

Answer

Outside of ArcInfo Workstation, the RMS error and Chi-square results from the
Spatial Analyst Trend interpolator were not reported up to version 9.1.

In version 9.2, an option was added to Trend to create an output text file containing these values.
