Why is the map grey after removing the Premium Imagery layer?

Answer

When adding the Premium Imagery Service thematic layer in Choose Layers, all layers below the Premium Imagery Service are turned off. If the Premium Imagery Service layer is then unchecked and the map is updated, the layers below stay invisible and the map may appear grey. Check the layers to appear on the map and click UPDATE MAP.
