Can I store StreetMap data on a storage card?

Answer

Storing data on a Compact Flash, PCMCIA, or Secure Digital card is a very good strategy to free some of the device memory. However, be aware that data access time from storage cards is much slower than from the main memory. Therefore, if the main objective is performance, data should be stored in the main memory of the device.
