Delayed write failed

Error Message

When ArcToolbox either imports an interchange .e00 file or copies a coverage from a local drive to a network drive the following error message may occur:

"Delayed write failed"

Cause

There is a faulty network cable.

Solution or Workaround

Replace the network cable. This will enable both the local .e00 file to be imported and the local coverage to be copied to the network drive.
