Permission denied in Crystal Reports 9.0

Error Message

While overwriting a report database (.mdb) in Crystal Reports 9.0 the following error may occur:

"Permission denied"

After selecting data and the personal geodatabase where your report will be saved, a message appears saying the personal geodatabase already exists and asks if you want to replace it.

The error has not been found in prior versions of Crystal Reports.

Cause

The 'Permission denied' error occurs when attempting to overwrite a report database (.mdb) after having previously created a report with selected features in one or more layers.
