How To: Create a link file for Spatial Adjustment
The link file for Spatial Adjustment is an ASCII file in which each line stores a new displacement link.
The process which follows uses Microsoft Notepad, but any ASCII text editor can be used.
- Open Microsoft Notepad.
- Add the link ID and the coordinates using the format below. Each link should be on a separate line and the delimiter either a space or a tab.
<ID> <from_x> <from_y> <to_x> <to_y>
The <ID> column is optional. But, if used, should preceed the coordinates.
- Save the file to disk for use in Spatial Adjustment.
