The symptoms of the ArcIMS Spatial Server crash are:
1. No VirtualServers are listed in ArcIMS Administrator.
2. There is no aimsserver.exe process running, although there is a monitor process running.
3. You get errors in the AppServer_xxxxx.log if you have debugging set to true. For example:
[Fri Mar 15 05:10:17 GMT-07:00 2002] Initializer> <ERROR code="1010">
Process could not connect to AppServer on host: mymachine.esri.com, port: 5353
Java is expecting a Thai locale other than th_TH.
Change your locale to th_TH.TIS620. After this change, ArcIMS should work as expected.
