ArcMap Advanced Drawing Options dialog box does not open

Description

When right-clicking on a dataframe and selecting Advanced Drawing Options, the dialog box does not appear.

Cause

Customizations are locked in the current ArcMap session.

Workaround

Disable the customization lock.

  1. In ArcMap click on the Tools menu > Customize to open the Unlock dialog box.
  2. Enter the password to disable customization.
