FAQ: Can I Use Dashes in My License Manager Server's Hostname?

Answer

Dashes (/ - or _ ) can be used in the hostname of a License Manager server.

The only limitation is that you do not use dashes as the first character in the hostname. The client machines will not see the computer as an operational license manager.
