Unknown Object "DocAct.5" in Project

Error Message

Attempting to open an ArcView project from version 3.1, 3.2, or 3.2a in 3.0a or 3.0b returns the following error:

Unknown Object "DocAct.5" in Project

Cause

The project was saved in version 3.1 or 3.2 with the Dialog Designer extension loaded. The Dialog Designer extension was not packaged with ArcView 3.0a or 3.0b. 'DocAct' is a Dialog Designer extension object and requires that the extension be loaded.

Solution or Workaround

1. Download the Dialog Designer Extension for ArcView 3.0a or 3.0b.
