Changing an address's standardization in the Find dialog box does not update the list of candidates for the address

Description

In the Find dialog box, if the geocoding service is unable to find appropriate candidates for an address, the user can click on the Show Standardization button to open the Edit Standardization dialog box.

In the Edit Standardization dialog box, the user can modify the address's standardization, then click Find in the Find dialog box to search for candidates for the address using the updated standardization. However, the list of candidates in the Find dialog box is not updated if the standardization is modified.

Cause

This was a problem with the software that was resolved in ArcGIS 8.1 Service Pack 2.
