Problem: Addresses with a null address field have a score and a shape when geocoded

When a user geocodes a geodatabase address table that can contain null values for the address field, rows that have a null value for the address field are not processed correctly. In the geocoded feature class, these features have the same score and shape as the previous record in the geocoded feature class.

This was a problem with the software that was resolved in ArcGIS 8.1 Service Pack 1.

Solution or Workaround

If you are working with ArcGIS 8.1, install Service Pack 1 or a later version to fix this problem.
