The euro symbol doesn't work properly in ArcMap tables
Description
After you enter the euro symbol in a table and save the edits, some of the text in the record turns into different characters.
Cause
Previous versions of Windows, such as Windows NT, don’t support the euro symbol.
Solution or Workaround
Microsoft has a product upgrade for displaying the euro symbol correctly in applications that support the euro symbol. The update is necessary since Windows NT was released before the euro was in place. Refer to the Related Information section of this article to download the upgrade.
Note:
Not all font sets contain a euro symbol.
