ArcPress crashes during raster processing

Description

ArcPress crashes while processing the print job.

Cause

There can be several reasons why ArcPress crashes. The two most common: not having enough temporary disk space for the temporary files that ArcPress creates, or trying to process a corrupted input file.

Solution or Workaround

• Redirect the ArcPress temporary files. By default, ArcPress stores all temporary files in the system's temporary directory. If the disk where that directory is located becomes full, ArcPress will abort. However, a new directory location for all ArcPress temporary files can be set.

• Verify the input file is not corrupted by viewing it. For example, if using an ArcInfo metafile, such as a graphics file (*.gra), use the Arc DRAW command.
