ArcScene: Decreased resolution evident with images draped on surfaces of larger extent

Description

The resolution of images downgrades if they're draped on surfaces of larger extent. The greater the discrepancy, the more adverse the effect.

Cause

This is a known problem.

Solution or Workaround

Clip the surface to have the same extent as the image.
