FAQ: Why Can't I Access the Source Tab to Update the Data Source of a Raster Catalog?

Answer

This is a known issue in ArcGIS 8.1. To reconnect a raster catalog layer to its source, click the red exclamation mark icon next to the layer in the table of contents. You will be able to access the Source tab for the layer once you have reconnected the layer to its data source.
