Opening a modal dialog box pauses the display of incoming tracking feed

Description

While using the ArcView Tracking Analyst extension, the display of incoming GeoEvents pauses when a modal dialog box is opened.

Cause

Tracking Analyst caches GeoEvents if a modal dialog box is opened. When the modal dialog box is closed, the display will catch up starting at the last GeoEvent obtained before the dialog box was opened.

Solution or Workaround

Note:
This is especially problematic if the modal dialog box is opened as part of an Action script.
