JRun 3.0 sp2 service fails to start

Description

JRun 3.0 sp2 service fails to start automatically upon system login after logout.

Cause

This is a known issue with JDK 1.3.

Solution or Workaround

1. Open the global.properties file located at
   <drive>:\Program Files\Allaire\JRun\lib
   
2. Set java.exe to {jrun.rootdir}/bin/dontdiejava.exe
3. Add an extra entry for java.jnipath:
   <drive>:\\jdk1.3\\jre\\bin\\hotspot
   
4. Save the file.
