What does a measure value of NaN mean?

Answer

NaN means 'Not a Number'.

You might see NaN values when using the Edit Sketch Properties dialog box to edit the vertices of a PolyLine with M values with. NaN values represent places on your PolyLine for which the measure values are not known.
