Composite symbols don't draw as expected in 3D scene

Description

Complex symbols, other than the ArcScene basic symbols, don't draw correctly. For example, a composite line symbol with dashed lines and multiple colors only draws as a single solid line with one color, and a hatch pattern fill draws as a solid fill.

Cause

This is a design limit in 3D Analyst. Only basic properties like color, and size for points and lines, are used.
