Error Message

Copy/Paste of geodatabase data is fails with this error:

"Create ouput feature class failed"

Cause

The Copy/Paste dialog box allows you to rename table and feature class names that are in conflict with objects in the target database; however, the new names you supply are not checked for correctness.

Solution or Workaround



Re-run the Copy/Paste operation and provide new table names that are compliant with the target database.
