The OLE DB to Table tool cannot create an output INFO table in ArcView

Description

The following warning message is produced at execution of the OLE DB to Table tool: "The application is not licensed to create or modify schema for this type of data".

Cause

The OLE DB to Table tool will let you attempt to write to an INFO table. The option to write to an INFO table should be disabled as dBASE tables are the only valid option for ArcView.

Solution or Workaround

• Create a dBASE table while in ArcView.
• Change your ArcGIS seat to ArcEditor or ArcInfo.
