Coverage to Geodatabase wizard output feature class is incorrectly named

Description

The output geodatabase feature class is incorrectly named after using the Coverage to Geodatabase wizard. The default name is used instead of the specified name.

Cause

The default name is used for the output, instead of the one you specify, when you follow this sequence:

1. Specify an output name.
2. Click the Back button from the 'New feature class names and additional options' panel.
3. Click the Next button to the Summary panel.

Solution or Workaround

Check the output name in the Summary panel to ensure it is correct. If it is not:

  1. Click the Back button until you get to the panel titled 'New feature class names and additional options.'
  2. Specify the desired output feature class name again.
  3. Click forward to the Summary panel and make sure the output feature class name is correct.
